SYRACUSE, N.Y. – KS&R was proud to be one of the sponsors of the 11th Annual Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (WISE) Symposium held on April 16th in Syracuse, New York. Presented by the Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship at Syracuse University’s Whitman School, the WISE Symposium is the premier event for aspiring entrepreneurs, businesspersons, and corporate leaders in Central New York.
A highlight of the event is the Ann Michel Award, given in memory of Ann C. Michel, past KS&R President and Founding Partner, who passed away in 2004. This annual award is given to two women who have started Central New York businesses who have proven success in entrepreneurship; have been in business for at least three years; and have demonstrated economic impact and growth. This year’s recipients were Ellen Griffith, co-founder of Fleet Feet Sports in DeWitt, New York, and Lois Ross, founder of New Dimensions and Dazzle in Manlius, New York.
