Scaling AI Infrastructure
As AI adoption accelerates, enterprise leaders face mounting pressure to transition from experimentation to scaled adoptions while balancing cost, governance, and operational performance. A global professional services client sought credible, market-backed insight into how large US organizations are modernizing AI infrastructure. The goal was to benchmark current adoption maturity, investment priorities, and governance models across industries to inform thought leadership and strengthen client engagement.
KS&R partnered with the client to design and execute a national quantitative study among 500 senior technology and business leaders across five industries. We optimized the research framework and survey to ensure clarity and flow, programmed and fielded the research, and applied rigorous quality controls to ensure reliable, decision-grade data. Findings were validated and segmented, then delivered through an interactive dashboard enabling cross-industry comparisons of AI factory adoption, infrastructure investment, governance structures, and operational challenges.
The study quantified a clear shift from AI experimentation to scaled deployment. Leaders reported rising AI infrastructure investment, evolving governance models, and heightened focus on cost management and operational efficiency. Industry-level benchmarking revealed meaningful differences in adoption maturity and capital allocation strategies. The insights equipped the client with credible, executive-level perspectives on enterprise AI behavior, strengthening its authority in market-facing conversations with senior-decision makers.
