KS&R Appoints Mike Bard Chief Operating Officer and Dan Conners Chief Growth Officer
KS&R is proud to announce the appointment of Mike Bard as Chief Operating Officer and Dan Conners as Chief Growth Officer, effective November 1, 2026.
Both appointments come from within the firm. Bard and Conners have spent years leading client engagements at KS&R and serving as members of the Board of Directors. They now bring that experience to the firm’s operations and growth strategy, while continuing to oversee client success across key industry verticals.
“Our clients bring us decisions that matter to their business, and they expect the people across the table to know their markets,” said Jay Scott, Chief Executive Officer of KS&R. “Dan and Mike have been those people for years. Putting them in charge of how we grow and how we deliver puts that experience where clients will feel it most.”
As Chief Operating Officer, Bard will oversee how projects are run across the firm. His remit covers delivery standards, research operations, and the technology and data security behind client work.
“Clients notice how a project runs as much as what it finds,” said Bard. “I want every engagement to feel consistent no matter which team is doing the work, and I want our operations to keep pace with the new methods our clients are asking about.”
As Chief Growth Officer, Conners will lead the firm’s growth strategy. That includes deepening relationships with existing clients, developing new ones, and bringing new offerings to market across KS&R’s industry practices.
“Growth at KS&R has always come from clients who return because our work positively impacted a decision they made,” said Conners. “My focus is earning more of that trust, both with the clients we already serve and with companies that need what we have to offer.”
In addition to these appointments, KS&R’s leadership is organized around clear areas of responsibility. Scott leads the firm as Chief Executive Officer. Mike Nash, as Chairman, sets the Board’s agenda and leads its oversight of the firm.
