Jay Scott, Chairman

Jay answers the tough questions. He believes better information leads to better understanding, and his clients come back because they trust him to get it right. He is an innovator, looking for new ways to expand the research toolbox, whether by technology or methodology. With a broad understanding of qualitative, quantitative and design techniques, Jay is passionate about identifying business opportunities, creating new products and services, and bringing them to market. This dates back nearly 30 years when he led research that extended the product mix for key CPG brands. The lessons learned are now applied more frequently in B2B situations, including answering tough questions in e-commerce, global transportation, supply chain and logistics. Jay holds a Master's of Marketing Research (MMR) from the University of Georgia. When not at work, you can often find Jay watching his daughter's soccer games or sneaking out of town to catch the Atlanta Braves.

Michael Nash, President

Mike thrives on delivering data-driven recommendations and action plans to solve complex business problems. His international research experiences and consultative engagements typically include a mix of qualitative and quantitative techniques. As a well-versed moderator, Mike is focused on better understanding the B2B decision making process - mostly among high tech, telecom, and professional service verticals. His thought leadership within the research industry often finds him speaking at events and conferences. Mike holds a Master's in Public Administration from Rockefeller College, State University of New York. Mike's out-of-office passions include global travel, improving his golf game, and sampling Syracuse's rising food scene - which is better than you might think!

Kristin Fischer, Executive Vice President, Principal, Corporate Treasurer

Kris is heavily focused on developing insights based on market research, customer data and external sources in order to provide both strategic and tactical actions. As much of her work relates to path to purchase and concept/pricing analysis, Kris and her team have expertise in capturing planned and in-the-moment decision processes. They use a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to identify insights and effectively communicate actions for various audiences within their client organizations. Through her more than 20 years at KS&R, Kris has developed expertise in telecommunications, technology, professional service and retail industries. Kris received her MBA in Management from Johnson & Wales. In her free time, Kris spends time in the kitchen trying new recipes and walking her dog Harvey at the state parks in our area.

Joseph W. Snyder, Vice President, Principal, Corporate Secretary

Joe has 25+ years of global market research experience, focused on global, B2B technology and telecommunications accounts. He has far-reaching experience in information systems technology, telecommunications technology and market-research methodologies. Joe is skilled in business-customer and partner satisfaction/listening measurement, brand and product perceptions, employee satisfaction and experience, product/concept strategy development, and transactional interactions. He leads a team focused on developing data-driven insights and action plans to solve complex business issues. Joe holds an MBA from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. When not working, Joe enjoys working in his yard, coaching, watching his four kids play sports, spending time with his wife, and annual family trips to Disney.

Chris Reimann, Vice President, Principal

With nearly 25 years' of global market research experience, Chris has a broad consulting background guiding clients in technology, risk management, retail and insurance with latent customer needs identification, new product/service development, fraud and financial crime assessment and optimal customer experiences. He is skilled at qualitative and quantitative research methods, and has extensive experience as a professional moderator and ethnographer applying creative approaches to unlock functional and emotional drivers of customer behaviors and decision processes. Chris has authored a number of White Papers, including those highlighting the ongoing fraud risks to retailers, e-commerce merchants, financial services and lending firms. Chris holds an MBA from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. Outside of the office, Chris continues to tackle the game of golf and all of its frustrating joys. Being a lifelong Red Sox fan has taught him how to be patient with success.

Jim Kraus, Vice President, Principal

Jim has over two decades of market research experience on the client and supplier side with particular expertise in the Technology, Financial Services, and Consumer industries. Jim's passion is helping his clients bring products and services to market that are competitively differentiated, meet a critical customer need(s), are optimally positioned, and result in a great customer experience before and after the sale. Known as a creative, result-oriented researcher, Jim leads KS&R's efforts to continuously bring innovative tools and methodologies to our clients that enhance learning and produce a more positive impact on their business performance. Jim holds an MBA from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Outside of work, Jim enjoys reading, golf, softball and spending time with his wife, daughters, and two dogs (also female!).

Mike Bard, Vice President, Principal

Mike has been with KS&R nearly two decades focused on helping clients in the Auto, Entercom, Retail & Non-profit spaces make more informed decisions. He co-leads one of KS&R's primary research divisions, while also quarterbacking KS&R's business development team. Mike is known internally as an expert in designing and implementing large scale, tracking research programs. He prides himself in working with his teammates and clients to not only find the answers to tough business issues, but communicate them in a way that everyone involved can act upon them. Mike holds a Master's Degree from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Mike is from a small country town where he and his wife enjoy spending time outdoors, watching their kids play sports, and water activities.

Christine Nelson, Vice President, Principal

Christine has a keen ability to build relationships, and her collective experience as a partner to Research, Marketing, Finance, R&D and Innovation delivers top-notch client service and holistic consultation. Christine pairs nearly 10 years at KS&R with her 10 years of client side experience to drive new product development through advanced analytics, forecasting and new methods. She is passionate about leveraging the full toolkit of global qualitative and quantitative methods to support our healthcare clients in the med tech, device and pharmaceutical spaces. Christine holds a Master's of Marketing Research (MMR) from the University of Georgia. Christine has a passion for personal finance and enjoys partnering with her husband to teach classes, provide counseling and record their podcast on the subject.
