Team Spotlight with Kieran Delay
Kieran has been with KS&R since 1993 and is the Director of Information Systems. He graduated from SUNY Polytechnic Institute with a master’s degree in Management Science.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the KS&R team?
Each day presents new challenges, experiences, and opportunities, which allows me to learn and react quickly, think on my feet, and constantly re-prioritize.
How did you end up at KS&R?
After grad school, I moved back to Syracuse in early 1993 and was fortunate enough to join a then much smaller KS&R.
What brings you great joy in your life?
Seeing my son and daughter happy.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My wife, Debbi, and I have raised children who are happy, healthy, goal-oriented, hard-working, and genuinely good people.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
It’s a tie between photographic memory and ambidexterity.
Aside from necessities, what is one thing you could not go a day without?
Hot coffee/tea.
What is the best/worst purchase you’ve ever made?
Best purchase: Current house
Worst purchase: Combination toaster/egg cooker
Would you rather live on the beach or in a cabin in the woods?
Beach (on a warm ocean).
