What do you enjoy most about being part of the KS&R team?
I enjoy how transparent our company is with its employees. Before being at KS&R, I was a part of a global company that at times you would feel like just another employee, but that’s not the case here. I feel involved and informed.

What advice would you give to yourself at age 15?
Don’t take life too seriously.

What is your proudest accomplishment?
I can’t think of my #1 proudest accomplishment, but I do have a good one. My wife and I, with no prior skills whatsoever, installed lattice on the back deck of our home over the summer. Through sheer determination (and many YouTube videos) we got it done in 2 days cutting up the lattice, installing posts, and multiple trips to Home Depot.

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
The ability to teleport. Every day we’re constantly fighting time and not having enough of it to do what we want in a day, or travel where we want in life. I think the ability to teleport would be amazing for that reason. That and I hate flying.

If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to and why?
Only because my wife and I were just talking about this, but 1985. And somehow I would make my way to London in July to see the ‘Live Aid’ concert with all the amazing artists and the 20-minute Queen performance of course.

Aside from necessities, what is one thing you could not go a day without?
Coffee.

What is the best/worst purchase you’ve ever made?
My best purchase as of late has been the Anker cell phone stand chargers. I purchased 2, one for my office and one for the living room in my home. Charging cords are a bit annoying and get in the way of the many cords you already have at your desk. This eliminates it and puts your cellphone upright to better use your phone while it’s charging.
