| KS&R Moves Its Contact Center to Downtown Syracuse |
| February 8, 2012 |
KS&R recently relocated 185 employees to downtown Syracuse, more than doubling the company’s total number of employees located downtown. The relocated employees are located in offices at the Syracuse Building, across the street from KS&R’s headquarters in the AXA Towers.
KS&R’s headquarters has been located in downtown Syracuse since it was founded in 1983, with 75 employees located at their office in the AXA Towers. Until January, KS&R’s office at Widewaters Parkway, in Dewitt, housed 185 additional employees. A more proximate location to KS&R’s headquarters and better public transportation convinced KS&R to expand their downtown presence. Officials from the City of Syracuse and Onondaga County worked with KS&R’s leadership to find a suitable location in downtown Syracuse.
“KS&R’s decision to relocate our contact center operations downtown is the result of a long and diligent evaluation”, said Joe Snyder, a Principal at KS&R. “The space is designed to help us better meet our client need, promote staff collaboration and improve processes. It demonstrates KS&R’s ongoing commitment to downtown Syracuse. We are looking forward to it.”
“KS&R’s decision to expand its downtown footprint demonstrates a commitment to our entire region,” said Syracuse Mayor Stephanie A. Miner. “I welcome KS&R’s employees and am confident they will enjoy the many benefits of joining the downtown business community.”
